Why did you choose our NZ Steel graduate programme?

During my time at high school, I had the privilege of visiting the NZS Glenbrook site – as a part of an engineering careers day. Ever since this visit I had been fascinated by the large scale, yet intricateness of the operation. The company’s philosophy to produce safe, and sustainable products was exciting for me, as I believe that leaving something for future generations and moving towards a sustainable future is very important.

The vast commercial and private uses of the product range that we produce at New Zealand Steel is something that is very rewarding to see outside of work - as it is prominent in areas of construction, infrastructure, rural and transportation applications. Knowing that I can contributed to such a well-established New Zealand company, that has made an impact to the world with such a diverse and innovative product range if definitely something that drew me toward choosing NZS.
