Inspiring New Zealanders to Live Sustainably.
Tread Lightly programmes aim to teach Auckland students and their families of the environmental consequences of their everyday lives, and to inspire positive behaviour change to create actual environmental benefits.
Tread Lightly Trust has completed over 200 school visits in the Auckland region and hosts over 10,000 students a year. More than 65,000 school children have experienced the programme since it began in 2010.
New Zealand Steel has supported the Tread Lightly Caravan (TLC) since 2015 enabling the caravan to visit schools in Franklin and other parts of Auckland.
