Since 2007 New Zealand Steel has been a primary sponsor of RYDA NZ - a role that it shares with BOC.
The programme targets 15-16 year olds who are at the stage of their lives when they start to drive or ride in a vehicle driven by their peers. Since its inception, RYDA has benefited the lives of more than 90,000 students across New Zealand.
New Zealand Steel is proud to support RYDA because of the impact road accidents have on young people and families and particularly because it is a good fit with safety being a core value at New Zealand Steel.
